When should I buy a wedding website?
When you are planning your wedding and have booked the venue(s)
and have the basic information needed to get started. Ideally before
you have your wedding stationery as you can include the website
address for RSVPs and further information for guests.
How do I chose a domain name?
Your domain name should be something easy to remember and include
the bride & groom's names.
E.g. www.adam-and-eve.co.uk or www.johnandmary.co.uk or www.gary-jane-wedding.co.uk
Domain names are subject to availability and a few suggestions
would be helpful.
How do I access my emails?
Kano will create your chosen email addresses for you and provide
instructions on how to set up your emails using Outlook or how to
access them online using webmail.
How long does my wedding website last?
The hosting for your website will last 12 months. If you require
the site to be available for longer Kano can extend this a further
12 months for a fee.
How will my friends and family find my website?
Include the website address on your stationery and email friends
and family a link to it.
How often can I change my wedding website?
Your website will be updated in 3 stages:
- The initial website design and development with all your information
- Addition of Stag and Hen night photographs (if requested)
- Addition of Wedding photographs
Any other updates/changes required in the meantime will be charged
at an hourly fee.
How do I provide the information and photographs?
All information should be provided electronically where possible.
This can be via email or on CD. Formats for text include: Word Documents,
PDF, Notepad, Email.
Formats for photographs include: JPEG, GIF, PSD, BMP.
Photographs can also be scanned by Kano for a small fee.
What if I want more information than listed in the packages?
Provide Kano with a detailed breakdown of the extra pages/sections
you require and they will be quoted for separately.
