Website Training

Once your website is live it is important to keep the information up-to-date. If this requires regular updates by the web designer/developer, this can be quite costly. That's why Kano Design offers training on how to maintain your site.

Adobe® Contribute® CS3
To use this package requires no experience in HTML or web design. Because Contribute works like a word processor, the user experience is intuitive and familiar. Users can add or update text, images, tables, links, and documents. Training lasts ½ day and software can be supplied.

Adobe® Dreamweaver® CS3
This is industry standard software for developing websites. Kano Design provide an overview of Dreamweaver which covers the basic functions of the package. We will take the client through practical exercises on updating existing pages and creating new ones. We will also demonstrate how to upload the changes to the Internet. Training lasts 1 day and software can be supplied.

Basic HTML
If using a package does not suit you, Kano Design also offer training in HTML to let you update your site using Notepad. We cover the structure of a web page, how to change the text, add images and links and how to upload the changes to the Internet. Training lasts 1 day and reference material is supplied.
